Die wichtigsten Geometrischen Figuren in der Ebene sind Punkte, Geraden und Polygone.
Unter Polygone versteht man Vielecke. Dazu gehen zum Beispiel [[Vierecke]] oder [[Dreieck]]e.
Ebene Figuren kann man an einem [[Körper]] aufsuchen und erkennen. Selbstverständlich gibt es viele Körper, wo man Vielecke finden kann. Im nachfolgenden soll es um zwei Beispiele gehen.

== Das Quadrat im Würfel finden ==

In einem [[Würfel]] findet man die Ebene Figur "Viereck". Oft kennt man einen Würfel von einem Gesellschaftsspiel. Ein Würfel besteht aus sechs kongruenten Vierecken, 12 gleich langen Kanten und acht Ecken. Man kann Viereck also sechsmal finden und benennen.[[Datei:Cubej.gif|200px|thumb|right|Der Würfel]]

== Das Rechteck im Quader finden ==

In einem Quader findet man ebenfalls die Ebene Figur "Viereck". Allerdings ist es ein sogenanntes besonderes Viereck, welches man auch in der Grundschule kennenlernt. Es handelt sich bei dem Vieleck um ein Rechteck. Der Quader besteht aus sechs Rechtecken, zwölf Kanten und acht Ecken. Man kann dieses Rechteck also sechsmal finden und benennen.

== Arrival of the Europeans ==
The Europeans discovered [[Australia]] for the first time in 1606 and shaped the history of the Aborigines with their settlement. On January 18, 1788, the English captain Arthur Phillip docked with the "First Fleet" on the southeast coast of Australia, near present-day Sydney. He wanted to populate the continent with criminals from England's overflowing prisons. Over the next 80 years, more than 160,000 people were trafficked from Europe to Australia.
Initially, the coexistence between settlers and natives was peaceful.
* Grocery trading took place between the groups.
* Captain Phillip had given instructions not to use force if possible.
* But as the settlers spread across the country, more conflicts arose.
The settlers killed the Aborigines to claim their land. The Aborigines suffered massively and the Tasmanians were even exterminated in the course of their pushing back. == The Art ==
It is imperative to pass on information to preserve their culture. Indigenous art is centered on story telling. It is used as a chronical to convey knowledge of the land, events and beliefs of the Aboriginal people. When being told to children it would take on a simpler form highlighting the educational and behavioural aspect. There can be a combination of information and moral teachings behind the story. The children are taught right from wrong and the consequences of good and bad behaviour. The stories, however would be interpreted at a very different and higher level form when teaching to initiated elders.The use of symbols is an alternate way to writing down stories of cultural significance, teaching survival and use of the land. The interpretations of the iconography differ depending on the audience.Although Australian Aboriginals have been using ochres as body paint, on bark and rocks for tens of thousands of years it was not until the 1930’s that the first paintings were done. These were not done in ochre or in dot art but in water colour at the Hermannsburg mission near Alice Springs. They illustrated desert landscapes. The first exhibition was in 1937 by the most famous of the first aboriginal watercolour painters, Albert Namatjira. His exhibition was held in Adelaide. Up until the early 1970s artists mainly used watercolours. Ochre and bark paintings were starting to become available to non-indigenous admirers and at Ernabella mission in 1948 an art and craft centre was founded. Traditionally paintings by Aboriginals were drawn on rock walls, ceremonial articles, as body paint and most significantly drawn in dirt or sand together with songs or stories. == The Religion ==
Aboriginal religion, like other religions, is characterised by having a god or gods who created people and the surrounding environment during a particular creation period at the beginning of time. Aboriginal people are very religious and spiritual, but rather than praying to a single god they cannot see, each group generally believes in a number of different deities, whose image is often depicted in some tangible, recognisable form. This form may be that of a particular landscape feature, an image in a rock art shelter, or in a plant or animal form. Landscape features may be the embodiment of the deity itself, such as a particular rock representing a specific figure, or they may be the result of something the deity did or that happened to the deity in the Creation Period, such as a river having formed when the Rainbow Serpent passed through the area in the Creation Period, or a depression in a rock or in the ground representing the footprint or sitting place of an Ancestral Being. Aboriginal people do not believe in animism. This is the belief that all natural objects possess a soul. They do not believe that a rock possesses a soul, but they might believe that a particular rock outcrop was created by a particular deity in the creation period, or that it represents a deity from the Creation Period. They believe that many animals and plants are interchangeable with human life through re-incarnation of the spirit or soul, and that this relates back to the Creation Period when these animals and plants were once people. There is no one deity covering all of Australia. Each tribe has its own deities with an overlap of beliefs, just as there is an overlap of words between language groups. Thus, for example, the Wandjina spirits in the northern Kimberley of Western Australia belong to the Ngarinyin, Worora and Wunambal tribes. These Wandjina are responsible for bringing the Wet Season rains, as well as laying down many of the laws for the people. Mehrere Geraden können in unterschiedlichen Positionen zueinander liegen.
Sie können parallel zueinander verlaufen, sie können sich in einem Punkt schneiden, oder sie liegen übereinander.

Sind zwei Geraden parallel zueinander, so berühren oder schneiden sie sich in keinem Punkt.
Ihr Abstand ist an allen Stellen der Geraden gleich groß. Parallele Geraden (g,h) werden so bezeichnet: g || h

To customize the MediaWiki:Sidebar on a wiki, you need first to be logged in with a user that has the editinterface permission - for administrators this is enabled by default. (For information on assigning a permission to groups or users, see Manual:User rights.)

Then, use a link to a page on your wiki, but replace your wiki page's title (e.g. Main_Page) in the URL/Address bar with MediaWiki:Sidebar and load that page - you should now see the current content of the sidebar. (You may need to use the syntax //yourdomain/yourwiki/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Sidebar&action=edit if you use long URLs.)

If the content of the sidebar has already been modified, you can simply click on the Edit or Edit source link, otherwise you may need to create the page first by clicking on Create or Create source.

Note: If you have to create a new page, you will be presented with the default content for the sidebar in the editor. In order to successfully create a MediaWiki:Sidebar page, you need to change the content before saving.

Here is an example code for a sidebar:

Headings

The navigation bar can be split into sections, each with a heading of its own. The heading for each section is taken from the first-level list element ("navigation" and "new heading" in the example above).

If this text corresponds to the name of an interface message (an existing page of that title in the MediaWiki namespace), then the text of that page is used as a label; otherwise, the header title is used as-is.

Bug: no sidebar is shown in the Nostalgia skin (bug 10794).

== Festlegen einer Startseite ==

In der deutschsprachigen Variante legt ein frisch installiertes MediaWiki eine (auch als solche benannte) Hauptseite als Einsprungadresse in das Wiki fest, wenn keine detaillierteren Angaben im URL gemacht werden. Das macht dahingehend Sinn, dass direkt nach dem Einrichten ein funktionsfähiges System zur Verfügung steht, in der Praxis wird man sich allerdings eine Begrüßungsseite wünschen, die bereits im Titel aussagekräftiger ist - wie z. B. "Das Skandinavien-Lexikon" oder "Südhessisches Kaninchenzucht-Wiki".

MediaWiki macht es dem Nutzer dabei einfach: Um die Startseite zu ändern, sind keine Eingriffe in die Konfigurationsdateien notwendig. Mit den notwendigen Rechten ausgestattet (je nach Präferenzen bei der Installation) muss lediglich die Spezialseite MediaWiki:Mainpage aufgerufen und dann verändert werden, als ganzer URL also z. B. http://www.meinwiki.domainendung/index.php/MediaWiki:Mainpage. In dieser Spezialseite findet sich nichts weiter als die Bezeichnung des Artikels, der von MediaWiki automatisch zum Start ausgeliefert wird und idealerweise bereits existiert. Sobald dieser Eintrag aktualisiert und gespeichert ist, wird das Wiki die neue Startseite umgehend verwenden. Der alte Artikel namens Hauptseite kann dann auch problemlos gelöscht werden.
